This course is the first step on the refereeing ladder and means that 15 year old James, U7/8s assistant coach, is qualified to referee children’s rugby up to U12s.

This is great news for our players and the club and we look forward to giving James plenty of opportunity to exercise his new skills, as well as supporting him if/ when he decides to go on to level 2.

As part of the club's ongoing development plan we aim to have a full complement of suitably qualified coaches and referees for all youth age groups. This ensures that we are up to date with current good practice and that we can give our young players the best experience we can.
