It’s back to league action this week with both of our senior teams at home on Saturday- the 1st XV welcoming Gosford All Blacks and the 2nd XV, Windsor.

Last season’s fixtures against Gosford All Blacks resulted in a narrow win and a big loss for our 1st team. This season so far sees Gosford sitting pretty at 3rd in the table after two wins and a loss while Slough sits at 6th after more of a mixed bag with a win, a loss and a draw. Slough have come on in leaps and bounds since their rather woeful pre-season games and a strong Greenie performance will be called for this weekend against well drilled and tenacious Gosford.

Last season’s Slough- Windsor clashes resulted in two fairly big wins for our 2nd team so here’s to more of the same this weekend when we welcome our neighbours from across the M4 to Tamblyn Fields. Currently sitting third and fourth in the league, both teams will be keen to stamp their mark on this derby game to come away with local bragging rights.

On Sunday our U15/16s are at home to Redingensians whilst our Minis section invites boys and girls aged 4-12 to join them for a free taster session. The session will run from 10am-12noon and no experience or special equipment is needed so if you know of any children that might be interested please do send them our way this weekend for a gentle introduction to the great game ;)
