Slough Rugby Club's youth section gathered to celebrate the achievements of its members at the annual awards ceremony on Sunday...

Youth Chairman, Martin Tilby, presided over the ceremony which marked the end of his first season in the role.

All players from U7s to U16s received a memento trophy. There were then three larger trophies awarded in each age group - Most improved Player, Coach’s Award and Player of the Season - before the overall Player of the Season Awards were presented. The award for age groups U7-12s went to U10s player Ryan Goddard, whilst U16s Harry Dillon picked up the U13-17s Player of the Season award.

Volunteers also received recognition at the ceremony with U10s assistant coach Robert Vater hailed as the Coach of the Year. Mary Blumbergs collected the Colin Williams Cup for work behind the scenes and The Neville Trophy was awarded to Paula Tadzik for reinstating the Wynford Phillips U7-12s Rugby Festival. The Vase was presented to Alex Goddard for keeping the kitchen open and a number of parents also received flowers and chocolates for their help in the kitchen and clubhouse.
