Details for the London Irish festival on Saturday. There will be no rugby on Sunday.

Please note that your child will not be able to play if you have not completed the parent consent form in advance of the day as I need to give them in beforehand. I won’t be able to make it to the club on Tuesday now so please contact me to organise coming over to get it done. Will take a couple of minutes. Any evening except Tuesday and Friday please. Thanks.

Kit:
Slough kit if you have it otherwise supplied shirt plus black shorts/ joggers and green and white or plain green football socks if you have time to get them. There is quite often some waiting time between matches so please bring hats, coats…etc in case they are needed.

Timings:
Games commence at 9am sharp. Would strongly advise aiming to arrive for 8.30 to allow time to get in, parked and meet up in good time for kick-off as it will be busy. There is a £5 charge for parking and programme. The festival is expected to finish 12.30-1pm

Address:
Palmer Park Stadium, Wokingham Road, Reading, RG6 1LF

Format:
The festival is a ‘round robin’ festival with the emphasis very much on Rugby’s Core Values- Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship. All players will get equal game-time.

Other:
There will be a photographer taking and selling action shots of the event throughout the morning and stalls selling food and drink.

Afternoon match:
Match and parking tickets for the afternoon game v Gloucester at the Madejski Stadium (RG2 0FL) are being sent out today- you can collect them from me on Saturday unless you would prefer to come and get them earlier. KO is 3pm but the supporters’ village will be open from 11am with plenty going on there if you want to head straight there after the festival.

Please let me know if there’s anything I’ve missed and please, please keep your fingers crossed for a warm and dry day ;)

Mary.
