A good session with visiting Staines RFC this morning. We played a few games and drills before finishing off with a short mixed match. There was some good running, tagging and passing seen throughout the session, and, I’m pleased to say, that for the most part we managed to resist running into touch so well done everyone.

Player of the week this week was Ryan who kept a calm head throughout, showed improvement in all areas and, a personal target, stayed on his feet! Great stuff ;)

Next week we are away at Bracknell RFC. Please arrive ready for a 10.30am start.

It was very chilly this morning and will only get more so, so please ensure that players arrive suitably dressed. If the children get cold they get miserable and can't concentrate. Wearing a few layers is preferred rather than one thick layer as the layers trap heat and can be removed (and added again) to suit as players warm up and cool down throughout the session. I would also really recommend wearing a hat. Leggings, joggers, jumpers, fleeces are all fine but please note that these should not incorporate zips, buckles, hoods…etc for player safety. Thanks.
